Let’s talk about dry shampoo! What I love about dry shampoo is that it can remedy so many hair challenges. When I first used it, I thought it was only for helping with oil in your hair but boy I was wrong. Now that I’ve tried quite a few, I have found so many uses! I use it after curling my hair to give volume at my roots. I use it when I need I high pony and my hair is just a bit to silky. I also use it to help build texture in my bangs when they seem to separate. So basically this is gold in a bottle ?

I have tried quite a few brands and I think there are so many great options on the market, however these four are ones I have repurchased a second or third time so I think they’ve passed the test!

IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo

This is my go to dry shampoo if I had to pick one for everyday use. Are their cheaper alternatives? Yes, however this is tinted with charcoal so for brunettes there’s hardly a white cast that needs to be blended. When I use it, I section off my hair and spray as much as needed and then flip my hair up side down and use my fingers at my roots to blend it out. Due to it being tinted, it takes seconds literally to blend so I can spray it and be out the door in no time. Also, did I mention it smells incredible? Definitely the best dry shampoo scent I’ve found thus far. It has such an expensive scent, does not even make sense? No, but you know when you smell something and you think yup definitely can’t afford that? Yeah, that’s what it smells like! It is more of a prestige price in my opinion for hair care but definitely worth the money.

Psssst Instant Dry Shampoo

I like to keep this on hand because it’s a great heavy duty dry shampoo. For me personally, this is one with a lot of white cast so it takes longer to blend in with a brush. Don’t let the white cast fool you though, because once this stuff is blended in you will be set for the whole night. This stuff is no joke, it’s heavy and needs a little work to get in but if I REALLY need some dry shampoo or I know it’s going to be a long night I will use this because it totally lasts! And it’s so affordable!

Psssst has repackaged and it looks like they have also reformulated, however you can totally swoop this packaging and formula up at Marshalls or TJ Maxx and you know what a great deal that’ll be 🙂

Dove Refresh + Care Dry Shampoo

This is such an amazing value and product. If I was traveling and realized I forgot my dry shampoo and went to the drug store, this is what I would grab. It’s so easy to use and gets the job done. I can totally blend it in with my fingers if I don’t have a brush and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy like some dry shampoos. It’s light and fresh and has scent options, the coconut scent is amazing!

Batiste Dry Shampoo

Buy Here: Batiste Fruity & Cheeky Cheery

What I love about Batiste is the scent range and color selection. They have SO many scents which is so fun if you love to have a strong scent in your hair. I love the cherry scent for summer and when I’m in between hair sessions and my roots are looking a little rough, I use the tinted divine dark to help with my roots and give myself some volume!
