1. Milk Chocolate

 

You must have heard that eating sweets leads to acne and dull skin. This substance often has strong impacts to the body’s immune system, making it difficult to defeat the infection on the skin surface, which causes acne.

2. Starchy Foods

 

Some studies in Papua New Guinea have shown that its residents rarely have problems with acne because they rarely eat bread or starchy foods. The reason here is that starchy foods contain high insulin levels, which easily leads to clogged pores, oil secretion, infection and acne.

3. Milk and Dairy Products

 

There is abundance of a growth hormone called IGF-1 in milk, which tends to make your acne grow big instead. IGF-1 is one of several factors that cause inflammation in humans, and which eventually lead to acne. Moreover, milk and dairy products cause an insulin spike in humans that cause the liver to produce even more IGF-1, leading to even more acne. Can you believe that low-fat milk is the worst one for your acne condition? No, right? The main reason is that while we try to remove the fat, at the same time, the lactose will increase and make skin problems such as redness, acne, etc worse.

4. Fruit Yogurt

 

Don’t worry yet, fruit yogurt we mention here is not the one you make at home by putting fruits into your yogurt, I am talking about processed pots.

The researches show that canned yogurt contains more sugar than candies. At blame is a natural process that’s known as glycation, in which the sugar in your bloodstream attaches to proteins to form harmful new molecules called advanced glycation end products (or, appropriately, AGEs for short). The more sugar you eat, the more AGEs you develop, and the more wrinkles you get.

5. Packaged Snacks

 

These foods including sweets, snacks, fried potatoes, etc bring you nothing but higher blood pressure and sugar. They do not contain oxidants to make your skin brighter; they contain plenty of sodium that can cause swelling when consumed in excessive amounts. The swelling can occur on your face, making that region of the face look and feel “fat”. So get rid of these foods immediately if you want to have flawless skin.

6. Alcoholic Beverages

 

The alcohol in these drinks will dehydrate your skin, making you look older. One way to fix it: Drink water twice as much as the alcohol!
